White lions are the rarest breed of lions. They get their color due to a color mutation. Their white color blows up their camouflage in the wild and hence puts them at a disadvantage. Hence there are very few white lions in the wild.

The documentary is a story of two lioness, sisters, single mothers with two cubs each. Their mate and protector has gone missing, leaving the family vulnerable to other males, who will kill the cubs. One pair of cubs is special, in the sense that they are completely white. The documentary talks about how their unique color will affect the the survival of their families. It details the life and the remarkable struggle that the family goes through to bring up the cubs and make them into the ferocious animals.
