Though not a psychiatrist, I feel if you are lonely, don’t be alone. Find company that can keep you involved hopefully in some activity that makes you feel good about yourself. Be on medication if you have to be but keep up the effort to bring it down gradually. Medication after all is a game of reducing returns. Cheer up. All that tech and virtual friends circle finally take you away from actual warm and human contact which I believe is the real medication against depression and loneliness.
