Pranav-75th GM

When India was indulged in the preparation for 75th Independence Day, and Simultaneously was hosting Chess Olympiad at Chennai, meanwhile another great news came for India from chess. India got its 75th Grandmaster and completed the Diamond Jubilee of GMs. This great news came from Romania, on 7th August V.Pranav 16-year-old talented youngster became Grandmaster after completing his final norm in Limpedea Open.

He made his first GM norm playing at the Serbia Masters in 2021. He secured his second GM norm at Vezerkepzo in Budapest in June 2022. There at Vezerkepzo he also crossed 2500 Elo rating points. And final third norm he completed on 7th August.

Pranav is getting coaching from India’s one of the top trainers K.Visweswaran. K.Visweswaran said that Pranav is a hard-working player and he is also natural at chess. He also added that Pranav is fast too and he is the fastest player I have worked with.

Pranav was supported by Chessbase India in 2021 by giving him their Youtube membership amount and he achieved his first GM norm. Chessbase India is Sagar Shah and Amruta Mokal led company, that has created membership in their Youtube channel just to support talented chess players in the country, so from across the world chess enthusiasts join their membership to help them, so that talent is never left behind.

So the young boy Pranav is very talented and we wish him to become Super Grandmaster very soon and race amongst the 2700 Elo-rated players.
