Divorce and Effects on Children’s Education

I thought this was a great read, especially because it applied divorce to success of children in school. It’s sad that children get the brunt end of something that they have absolutely no control of. The effects are long-term, too, because the child is falling behind in school and they will take longer to catch up. Especially when it does come to the standardized testing part of things too. I’m curious to know your opinion on why you think giving them extra time on their assignments will work in their benefit? It seems that it may aid in them being more behind than they already are, let me know!
