Harappa By Vineet Bajpai: Review

Harappa has left something of a mystery for my mind. I still imagine the events which take place in the novel.
The novel has not described each aspect in detail but Vineet Bajpai made sure that it would be an interesting and gripping one with simplicity rather than making it into a lengthy story.

The story is short and one would wonder about its possibilities. Many would not like this book as what it explains is a bit extraordinary and people might deem it just a small result of imagination or as a simple story with not many thrilling aspects. Well I say enjoy the simple things and don’t expect everything to be flamboyant.

The author has stated the whole story quite effectively in a manner which would interest us in the simplest way.

You can be away from the world for a few hours when you are reading a book which results in you traveling to a world of imagination but when you come back things are still mystified and you are left curious to know more and to imagine more, be it reality or be it imagination.

You never know how soon the Sands of time slip away from your palms
Vineet Bajpai has stated this in the book that truly time should be measured by events and not by the lapse of hours.

To sum it up I would say that Harappawill take you to a short and yet an ancient jovial adventure filled with zeal, implicit sentiments and a few surprises.
