As I gaze upon her vastness

As I gaze upon her vastness, she calls to me with total joy and abandon

come play, run, I have so much to tell you, so much to show you

I rise and put on a jacket, thick socks and tennis shoes, grab the camera and off I go

There she is, teasing me, full of treasures, salt, she continues to call until I’ve reached her

Standing in front of her, I greet her with love, reverence, and say hello Atlantic,

Tears trickle down my cheeks, a smile forms upon my face

I gaze upon her vastness and thank her for her healing presence once again in this sacred space
