I’m probably way older than most of your readers (soon to turn 50), but I am so very grateful that you took the time to write this. I can relate to many of the conflicts you mentioned, and it’s both painful and affirming to realize that societal change often goes backwards and forwards simultaneously, and it’s messy as ever.
