A Story of Survival

I apologize for not writing recently, but this past week I was hit by a car while riding my bike. Like most people, I was in shock when it happened. The doctor said I got lucky, I could have been paralyzed. But I came out with a road rash and a small bruise. After this week, I thought I have been in physical danger multiple times throughout my life. Each time I was lucky enough to avoid any injury or death. It still amazes me how God gave me the better end of the stick (despite me not being a Christian).

As I stated in a previous article, I had always wished on my birthday candle for something bad to happen to me. But this year, I wished I could enjoy my life while I have it. Kind of ironic, a near death experience happens after you make a wish to live life to the fullest. I can say after this experience I’m grateful that God spared my life. But from now on, I’m going to be more careful what I wish for. After all this I feel a source of redemption almost and it feels really good.
