Born and brought up in Kerala- Southern tail of India, Coconut is an unavoidable ingredient or factor in our dishes.

It is part of our life in the form of coconut oil, coconut milk, coconut slices, grated coconut, roasted coconut, desiccated coconut.

Dishes that include coconut have a special aroma and taste, but not everybody’s likeness, but apparently, I should say those dishes grab special attention.

I think I have said this before, we prefer veg over protein, but we have…

These bullet chilies may look similar to Bird’s eye chili or Thai Chili, but these are different with Scoville heat 2,500–10,000.

Bird’s eye chili is very common in my hometown, Kerala-India. I have been looking for it in my nearby grocery shops and found these Bullet Chili hailed from Myanmar.

Bullet Chili is not spicy as Bird’s eye chili; as per records, Bird’s eye chili Scoville heat is 50,000–100,000; which is double that the Bullet Chili.

I was pregnant then with my daughter, Serah, and she made…

Dense and Chewy, Lemon Zest — Chocolate Chunk Muffins, Image by Author

I loved making Cup-Cakes and wanted to try on Muffins but not the usual fruity, nutty flavor. And When I started to think of a unique muffin flavor, It reminded me of the Kit-Kat saga in Japan.

I was way skeptical when Kit-kat japan introduces exotic editions such as Yuzu, Hot Japanese Chilli, Wasabi, Matcha Green Tea. There are hundreds or more flavors are available in Japan but not internationally.

All my business trips, I would not miss grabbing those special editions, not all but…

Snow City, Singapore — Image by Author

It's been some time that I want to write a review on Snow City, Singapore. But I feel like 24 hours is not enough to do everything. Though I have prioritized this item from my bucket list, I tend to push it around or postpone it due to simple laziness; Then I will go again the same cyclic complaining saga of “Time is not enough.”

So today, I have decided to pen down, so I started, and I am not going to sit on it anymore.

We have been cautious when we go outside, and due to the current situation…

I had shortlisted dinner rolls in my baking list for a long time. I was always drawn towards the beautiful sight of Dinner Rolls photographed by avid bakers.

Who doesn’t love Buttery Dinner rolls? I made these beautiful eggless dinner rolls topped with butter, salt, and parsley flakes. To my surprise, they turned out extremely soft and fluffy.

These Buttery dinner rolls are good to serve with a warm chicken stew or with pasta.

These are not overnight rolls but prove instantly using active dry yeast. I am not saying an instant yeast would make the process…

“Mee” is a Chinese word, especially popular in Malaysia and Singapore, and it means Noodles or a dish that contains Noodles; hence I am not calling my dish another Noodle dish.

We are not vegetarians, but we do prefer vegetable dishes over meat dishes. It’s so easy to prepare this noodle dish with less or no hustle and bustle.

There is no definition or choice of vegetables in the dish; that is literally up to you. …
