Veg cheese toast

Ready to eat and super fast to make

This is an easy and quick recipe when you want to eat something tasty but also do not feel like getting too much worked up in the kitchen. So lets get started.

Ingredients

  • 6 bread slices (use any bread of your choice)
  • 3 tbsp salted butter at room temperature
  • 1.5 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 capsicum finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • black pepper as required (optional)
  • Mozzarella cheese grated

Method

  • Preheat oven at 180 degrees.
  • Mix chopped garlic, onion and capsicum and stir fry in olive oil.
  • Once done, mix in the red chilly powder.
  • Take the slice bread, spread butter over it and spread the stir fried veggies.
  • Top with grated cheese.
  • Place the bread slices on wired wrack and keep it in preheated oven
  • Bake for 8 minutes or till the cheese melts.
  • If you like golden cheese, bake for two minutes more.
  • Remove the toast and serve hot with dip of your choice.
