Every year infinite number of businesses are launched and the unfortunate truth is 90% of them gets failed. There are many factors for the business failure and one of them is not having a strong team.

Building a strong team is a craft and most successful entrepreneurs understand this so well, Steve Jobs said that the one thing he would like to do in apple is the hiring process:

1- Hire on Passion & Right Energy : While hiring focus on energy and passion of a candidate. Strong team is made up of strong players working of common vision and mission with high energy levels and passion. 2- Values & Integrity: Each and every employee must seek themselves a brand ambassador of their organization. They must have high values and Integrity in their persona, they must embrace the beauty of togetherness and right moral conduct in order to build a strong team.

3- Roles & Culture Fit: Each of your team member’s responsibilities must be interconnected and dependent upon one another. This is not unlike team sports, where some players are known as “system players” — meaning that, although they may not be the most talented person on the team, they know how to work best within the “system.” This is why you must have a keen eye for talent that can evaluate people not only on their ability to play a particular role — but even more so on whether they fit the workplace culture (the system) and will be a team player.

4-Vision & Mission Alignment: Name any strong team the most basic and fundamental but yet most underrated thing is the alignment of your team with the vision & mission of an organization. Are they living this every day? Are they putting their life on it? Are they focus enough? Speak your team about the goals of the company and expectation from the team so they fell connected and focus on to make organization prosperous & successful.

6- Celebrate successes and failures: Celebrating your successes and milestones also brings your team together and allows everyone to see that when they work together, great things can happen. If someone does a great job at something, give them a shout out in front of the rest of the team so that every effort is seen and appreciated. This also helps each person to feel visible and that what they’re doing has an impact. In contrast, if your team fails at something, come together to redirect your efforts or turn it into something positive. Don’t throw anyone under the bus or turn a damage-control discussion into a blame game. This never helps anybody. Instead, give your team equal responsibility to put your heads together and figure out the next steps or pivots.
