We, the universal

  • In early history humans believed that they are the center of the universe.
  • We created the concept of God (in different religion) and have conflict over which concept of God is universal.
  • Humans “created” mathematics (a symbolic communication system with less ambiguities as compared to natural languages) and believe that mathematics is universal.
  • AI (artificial intelligence) should be able to mimic a human i.e intelligence is all about us and we represent the universal definition of intelligence.
  • We created computers and now some of us think that universe is a simulation running inside a computer.
  • We “innovate” and “change the world” (actually we don’t change the world, we just impact human lives).

Basically, humans do something that humans can discuss/observe/analyse and then call it universal, hence — We, the universal.
