Just Being ME- First Solo Trip !

Configuring email late night at 1:00 made me realised that this is not the ways to live life. 3 days have almost passed and I haven’t seen anything new…so I googled Khandala and bang I was hooked for the drive…

Woke up at 6 in morning, left at 6:30, relaxed drive with windows down to let cool breeze rush in with acoustic music playing. Feels damn good!

With no pre-plans as to where and what I’ll be doing in Khandala, I set my course. Never realised that summer morning can be cool too :)
I reached Khandala and came across a beautiful lake, my first sight seeing point

Spending a couple of minutes in calmness and then moving to next place.

Just above Mumbai-Pune express way, with clouds almost touching me, made me realise what is time and how soon we loose the value in our busy life. An important learning.

So I moved to my next spot, which gave me a bird’s eye view of the entire express way. People running to reach their destination made me laugh out in the same way as it was true for me too. Everyday I’m also in rush and every car represented my random thought trying to take me to unknown destination which brought some clarity in my mind. No rushing or reacting because of my own thoughts or by the noise created by otherwise. Second lesson

I was hungry and stopped by for breakfast, wada-pav and tea. I was not ready to end this journey soon so, just 3 hrs went by, and I wanted more inspiration.

I headed back to Lonavala and took a detour to Bhushi dam. Wanted to see INS Shivaji but bad luck; required permission for commanders. So now I have to find a new spot , a new goal, took a u-turn to air force station. I had no work there. And then something AMAZING happened. I was in love with what I’m doing. So beautiful roads and still the cool breeze was there with me all the time to give me company.

I had ample amount of time so decided to measure the unknown road. Soon, saw some sign boards stating Amby valley 12km ahead..that’s was my new destination….

Breath taking natural view, roads covered with tree on both side, allowed dim sun light, birds chirping wow. Roads glittering, feels fresh…

Hit Amby valley, so now what, headed back. Found a road companion. Irfan maybe in late 40s.Nice simple guy. Exchanged notes about each other. Laughed over a cup of tea and parle g biscuits.

Dropped him at Lonavala and I was back on my way back home with few of my questions silently answered and a refresher me.
