Self Improvement #1

This post is for me more than anything..

Most of my life I’ve constantly compared myself to others and I’ve discovered that this is the reason why I’ve never been able to achieve MY best.

Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube.

All of these sites have entangled me in a pit of self loathing and it became emotionally exhausting.

The best advice I could give to anyone right now is to simply worry about yourself. Do what you love and be good to others.

One of my worst things that can happen when you indulge in the affairs of others is that you lost sight of who you are. It takes you longer to figure out what you want to do with your life and detains you from passions you could have discovered.

I understand that inspiration may be paramount to some for finding passion but emulating the lives of strangers detracts from your uniqueness.

I start my junior year of college a week from now and I’ve decided to use Medium to keep myself accountable on my choices and to find a new output for my ideas.
