I’m just coming into the middle of this. I really despite comparisons of writers. Someone’s writing either resonates with you or it doesn’t and that determination is all about the reader not the writer.

There are so many options here. If someone or some one thing a person wrote doesn’t resonate with you, move on. Don’t comment about it, as if you have been elevated to judge of Medium. It’s unkind, unnecessary, and unproductive. An accepting and open community like this produces better writing than a judging and critical space ever could.
