I’m so happy to hear from another stepmother who had a similar experience Robin — I’ve been amazed at the people who are surprised that I still have a relationship with my stepson after divorcing his father 8 years ago — it blows my mind, you don’t divorce children and I raised him so it would be surprising if the relationship ended abruptly just because my relationship with is father did. Honestly, I love people, but sometimes people don’t think! lol
