Stop Telling Good Arguers to Become Lawyers

I have been a lawyer for 20 years. I spent five years after college trying to be something else, nothing else fit.
I love being a lawyer. The money has never been all that great but I have a passion for it and that’s the only reason to practice law. I love to write briefs, advocate in court and I love jury trials. I love the people I meet and the people I serve. I love that my work is interesting and that I am always learning. I make a difference in the lives of my clients.
It is not for everyone. It is hard. It is what you make of it. It is so much more than being good at arguing.
Great story.
