Little Red Riding Hood

The forest was dark when they met each other.
She could feel her heart starting to beat faster as he approached her on the path. They stood in silence for a while, just looking at each other. Feeling each other's presence.
Are you lost? he finally asked.
No, she said. I knew I'd find you here.
I've been watching you from afar for some time now.
I've begun to love your dark eyes.
Love how you walk about these woods
howling and growling
alone
wild
hungry
looking for things you don't even know yourself
I need you to wolf me down
I need to be inside of you
feel your warmth
feed your hunger
serve your wild spirit

I'll give you a head start, he said.
I love the chase.
Now run.

And she did.
And as he grabbed her and bit her, she never felt more alive. More loved.
