I support women. I am trans. I support trans. Whether or not I dress how I dress I am trans but a woman is a woman and I am trans. I believe we (trans) need to be creating a movement to support trans. If we are a “third” gender, cool, let’s be that. If we love women then we love women. Whomever we love is the person(s) we love.
In this article, I sense a rigidity that is often ascribed to so-called “TERF” people. I have never felt excluded by feminists or by lesbians or by feminists who are lesbian or by lesbians who are feminists. My partner is a woman and she accepts me as me. I don’t ask to be accepted as a woman because that is a level of becoming that takes a very long time. I do appreciate being accepted as TRANS. That, too, has taken a long time.
