6. Go to an exhibition or a museum.

I recently moved to Norwich so I visited the British Art show.

Ryan Gander’s “The Way Things Collide”

This was one of the carved sculptures in the exhibition. Why choose such a beautiful material to create an artwork like this? I don’t feel like this was the most appropriate material to have been used. Why has the artist chosen a warm Oak to depict a harsh leather seat? Why not use an actual car seat and tampon? I know that I did not like this artwork, although I do not understand why. There seems to be an ongoing theme of female genitals, although this does not seem to reflect that aspect of feminism, I do not find this sculpture shocking or beautiful. They were carved so well but I have no emotional connection to this at all.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
