A Month by the Mediterranean

The Mediterranean by me

I will tell you it’s nice
to sleep well at night,
to live near the sea,
and read what I like,
to have freedom to choose,
to have enough time,
to love my own body,
to write phrases that rhyme,
to love the man of my dreams
and have him love me back,
to have two great kids,
nice coffee on tap,
sweet gelato, and wine,
while watching the tide.
But it does not make me happy
unless I’m happy inside.
