Sweet Nothings…
A Poem

October creeps upon me,
caresses the back of my neck,
wistfully whispers sweet nothings
that I will not forget.
Cold air
crisp
intoxicating;
all around me, changes ring.
Embracing autumn’s lustful advances,
and a distant crow sings.
