My fiance is getting (somewhat emergency) oral surgery today (16 days before our wedding!) so I need to make sure to go pick up all his prescriptions at the pharmacy before the anesthesia wears off. I also need to sign the contract and pay the deposit for the rehearsal dinner, work on Thank You’s from our showers, send the printer place card information, and work on the seating chart. Just a few things :)
Laundry!
I figured out budget things and I can realistically pay off my credit cards by March. Stretching my budget would get me to the end of the year, but since I’m trying to find my way around a new city, I want to have a little wiggle room. I still need furniture and to find new bars I love and also idk make friends…
My current biggest goal is to save $1500/month towards a down payment, with end goal of infinity $$$$ due to being in the Bay Area. Since having that explicit goal starting in Jan 2016, I’ve hit it every month with one exception! I think it may go down a bit over the course of the year as I have to make deposits for wedding things and thus have less to allocate to savings, but am hoping to keep it over 45%.
First day of medical school today!

Friday: $16 at a diner for an omelette and pancakes after backpacking all week. Got home, did laundry (loaded laundry card, $10) caught up on the internet and relaxed, spent $12…
yay it’s the weekend! Today I’m going to duck out of work early because it has been dead here all week and there are no bosses around. I have to pick up the laundry ($29, we waited too long) and peapod is coming 5–7 pm (not included in this). I have stuff for dinner at home and I want (“want”) to clean the bathroom.
Friday!
We’ve got a lake trip planned for my boyfriend’s birthday. I volunteered to plan and am now elbow deep into like three different google docs with costs and menus (I didn’t think it would be this much work when I signed up). Most of the money has already been spent, so I’ll be sending venmo requests to recoup some of…
