The Cost of Visiting a Close Friend

I loved this article and really appreciate the effort this writer put into sustaining a friendship. My childhood best friend got married almost a year ago and while I made it a priority to be at her wedding, we both have lost contact over time due to busy lives moving in divergent directions. Maybe we’re both nervous that if we talk we’ll realize we don’t have as much in common anymore (or maybe that’s just my fear). Anyway, I was inspired to send your article and a note to my friend. Hopefully it will be an opening for us both to reestablish that lost contact.
