Some Companies Are Offering “Financial Wellness Programs” to Employees
Nicole Dieker

It’s obviously not a perfect system, but I think this program could be really helpful. My company recently sponsored an in-office Health Screening and incentivized it through our healthcare provider. We each earned a $75 giftcard to a retailer of our choice (Amazon!). They may have been taking my data, but the fact of the matter is that many of us are hesitant to go to a doctor and pay our copays just to have them tell us we’re fine or run basic tests. I wish the program would bring in financial advisors and let you do a “financial check up” with them. I would sign up for that in a heartbeat.
