Thanks for the suggestion! Brooklyn Law is a single building campus in NYC and so they don’t have any strong relationships with specific credit unions, but I’ll have to look into a few. One of my big concerns is that we don’t plan to be in New York longer than another two or three years. I’m currently still banking with a local institution back in Kansas (where I lived previously). I’m not in a rush to cut that tie, but I’d prefer not to leave a long string of local banks in our wake as we keep moving. I was thinking that maybe having an online savings account and brick and mortar checking would be a good compromise for him.
