Hopping into Spring with your Furry Companion

Easter treats aren’t just for humans — your cat deserves a special treat too! After all, they’ve put up with your ridiculous Easter decorations and other stuff, so it’s only fair. But what should you give your furry friend? Chocolate eggs are a BIG no-no (unless you want a trip to the vet), so you’ll have to get creative.

How about some catnip-filled plastic eggs? Your cat will love batting them around and trying to get at the treat inside. Or maybe some tuna-flavored Peeps? Okay, that one might be more for your own entertainment than your cat’s. And if you’re feeling really ambitious, you could try making your own Easter-themed cat treats, like carrot-shaped salmon biscuits or egg-shaped chicken bites. Just be prepared for your cat to give you a look of utter disdain before walking away to go eat their usual food.

Of course, it’s important to remember that not all Easter treats are safe for cats. Keep the chocolate away and don’t give your cat anything with xylitol, raisins, or other dangerous ingredients. And as always, be prepared for your cat to completely ignore your well-intentioned efforts. But hey, at least you tried, right?

Decorating your home for Easter can be a fun way to get into the spirit of the holiday — unless you have a mischievous cat in the house. Suddenly, those delicate Easter eggs and fluffy…
