Why I Am Learning to Code

Throughout my career, most of my jobs have been sales-oriented in nature. My professional experiences, however, were frequently intertwined with tech teams and have always sparked a desire to learn how to be a developer. I have always been fascinated (jealous, even!) by the wizardry of my tech colleagues who seem to be able to build so much. I admire, not just the purely technical aspects of their skill sets, but also the creative and critical-thinking elements.

I would eventually like to be able to merge my business management skill set with a software engineering skill set to be fully equipped to be an excellent product manager. I want to be able to manage technology development teams while being able to speak their language. I also want to be able to apply my coding skills to my own ventures.
