Sweet and sour love

Feelings are really complicated, never one level, and like a really tasty dish, they are a combination of different tastes. Art was always a great choice for showing a multilayered world of feelings and thoughts — we perceive it directly as a soul. What would you say to your love after a couple of years? how your feelings developed? changed? You are the different person now and your feelings are different, is it possible to capture this changes?

This is my painting about a longterm relationship, about love, freedom, independence, and feelings. It feelings are something like top chef dish. Different tastes combined together with a great power of amazing taste.

„Double freedom” Boson 4, oil on canvas 100/70 cm 39,5”x27,5” 2017

Here is a poem I wrote to combine this painting:

“I know you as well, as myself

so never fully.

Together we walk, steps of the drunk

like, two morons.

Together we stroll and stumble

we have defeats together

together success

we grow up

together.

Even if I want to be alone, and sit in an empty room, you have to be in the next one to mine.”
