Each educative session is packed with learning, introduction to new things, as well as taking questions from those who are either trying to gain clarity of some sort or trying to proffer solution in relation to the topic of discussion and RChain vastly. Together we share ideas, give suggestions, and contribute to solving problems.

  • Work Study

Thursday September 27, 2018 Colab Session began with a few tips on the CoLab Work Study. Peer Learning, Interactive Learning, Video Lab, Stage Environment, GraphQL, and KYC-bot would be needing improved sponsorship — stated Jimscarver who anchored the meeting. Collaborators who have done work in any of these categories, would be rewarded with an initial amount which could certainly change in the future as work progresses. A spreadsheet is shared on screen showing how to enter work done matched with each contributor, and the link to the document they have worked on. Compiling work done into the spreadsheet would attract sponsorship for the projects as it would reflect how much value have been added. Most of the bugdeting should come from marketing — stated Jim.

  • KYC-bot

“KYC" meaning Know Your Customer is a very integral part of the coop as it is directed at ushering in new members, hence the importance of the KYC-bot. Jim shares tips on how he was working on making the bot more useful.

He gave commendation for the new index added on the CoLab video. This is an insightful initiative that adds more description to each video and what it entails. Its catchy summary would draw people’s attention to view the video content.

  • RNode on Virtual Box

According to the challenge faced by Kaka in trying to install Virtual Box on her PC. Jim lectured on the correct way to get it done by first installing 4gb of RAM, 20–30gb disk, and downloading an ISO image on Ubuntu…
