At what age do people usually make a decision on what their future profession would be? 16–18-teen year olds, graduating from high-school, with next to zero real-world experience, are required to make a decision that will largely determine their life. What do they base their opinion on? The movies/tv series they’ve watched (e.g. I want to become a doctor because I watched Scrubs and it seemed fun), close relatives and friends they’ve observed and listened to, parent influence exerted on them and so on.
