Ok so it was not a super success. I trimmed the back edges before fitting it because my mouth is small and that was ok, but it was too thick overall — I guess if I could sleep with my mouth wide open all night it would work (it would not work). I’m going to try fitting another one and see if I can trim the front piece that goes behind the teeth so it’s not hitting my soft palate as badly.
