Lilian, How I appreciated reading your comments. Thank you for reading, but for also taking the time to respond. I’m glad this resonated with you. But even happier that you were able to clean out your closet. Not hitting back, giving up retaliation, they are very important steps. I often think about Job’s comforters in the Bible. When Job had lost so much they showed up. And that is saying something. It would have been good too, had they kept their judgments to themselves. Silence is golden. We can say so much with just our presence. You said you now feel sorry for those who gloat in sarcasm. I’m just thankful that God showed me it did not draw people. The lesson was painful, but it seems the painful ones are the ones we remember the most.
