When I refused to face the possibility that she did call me, there were no “what ifs,” They only surfaced when I started doubting my own thoughts. Once I did that I got tormented for a while. It’s funny to me how we can stave off guilt and anger at ourselves by simply projecting it on others. But once we stop that, it is a wave too big to ignore, and yet, not too big for God to handle. I hope you’re right. I hope it will help others.
