Walking Water

I ask that you stand still and yet I flow
I move and you damn my gift
You connect, I ask for space
I embrace you
I hold us
I find me in the we
I do onto you what you have done to me
It is my penance from times long ago
You, me, we is my deepest longing
Reminding me of my greatest sorrow
Of being alone. Forgotten.

I am water. Source of life and all creation. By nature I am plural, a multitude of one. I feel pain and pleasure and all the things of humanity. Because I am you and you are me and we are we together.

Following the flow, managing the ups and downs, surfing the waves, as many droplets into one. Till we stand on two feet and walk.
