Losing Your Dad When You’re a Daddy’s Girl

Thanks for sharing this-a devastating loss. The pictures are lovely and show a warm and loving dad. I also was a daddy’s girl who lost my dad when I was 15. It is something I will never fully heal from, but I have tried to take some meaning from it for my life. To not take life or love for granted -to be compassionate and awake and present to the pain of others. Your dad will always be a part of you, and in those quiet times, you will feel the love he gave you. Live your life in a way that honors him and remember all the things he taught you. That is a way to keep him with you always.
