Live by the EpiPen, die by the EpiPen

As someone who has been taken by ambulance with an anaphylactic reaction to nuts, I now carry EpiPens with me. I don’t understand why a lifesaving device like an EpiPen isn’t OTC and in every home. And if they continue to be so stupidly expensive why can’t the expiration date be pushed back?

Not to sound like a conspiracy nut, but was all this a PR ploy so we’ll feel relief that their (generic soon to be released)will be under $200???
