My Second Year!

As you may be aware from the back to school ads and the constant flurry of cars filled to the brim with student’s possession down the motorway, we’re back to university and we’re quite easy to spot! I am a second year student at the University of Huddersfield studying History and I’ve just finished my first week back.

This first week back has included an existential crisis (or three!) and a daunting feeling as the module handbooks were given out and the world load and expectations were made clear. This was my inspiration for this first blog post. The intention of this blog is as an outlet for my stress (which will become more apparent in the coming weeks) and as a place to discuss how the jump from first to second year has and will affect me. As well as these social issues, educational issues will also be discussed. Within this first week I’ve felt relieved as I have enjoyed the introduction to each of the modules and how much they vary in comparison to first year. I will also blog about my university experiences, extracurricular activities and my life as a history student. Enjoy!
