I’m having my sense of smell switched back on, and it feels like a farm went off in my nose
Jason Caplin

I was excited to read this post. I have been mourning the loss of my sense of smell for roughly four years. I, too, have not been able to trace it to any significant trauma or disease. Would you be willing to share with me precisely what treatment you used? I did a steroid regimen several years ago — unsuccessfully. Perhaps something new is available or perhaps your doctor used a different steroid. It was my understanding that regaining a lost sense of smell, particularly after so long a time, was rare.
