I’ve been feeling the nudge for awhile to write about the dynamic within the Social Justice Warrior (SJW) culture, but it’s taken some time for me to really find the words for what to say. What’s happening right now within the collective is so complex, and I’m trying to do my best to unpack the different layers in order for you to be able to see things as clearly as I do.

First I’m going to make a very bold statement and then regardless of your beliefs, I hope you’ll hear me out. Regardless of who you’re voting for in 2020, it’s important for you to understand why your own personal energy matters.

I’m sitting here, staring at a blank cursor, simply noticing the overwhelm filling my body as I try to write this. Everything I’m currently feeling and everything that would potentially hold me back from writing this is exactly why this needs to be written. I know I am not alone in my feelings and experience of life and therefore, if I’m feeling called to write it, it’s because others are feeling the same way and may not have the words to express their experience.
