Picked up 3 different weights of nylon mesh to see if heat forming around a form could be a possibility. Here are the results:

All three weights side by side after forming
The finest mesh would melt very quicklu if too much heat was applied
The medium weight mesh was easy to form without becoming too brittle
The thickest mesh formed very easily but ended up becoming extremely brittle
