Everyone is a designer. Get over it.
Daniel Burka

Fascinating! I would take this further and say that design is intention only. Although a team member might not be designing something visual with you, they can definitely be designing on an intellectual level with you. Which makes me wonder, where does design end? Are we always designing if we’re solving problems? I usually feel into this question to answer the others: What is the difference between design and art?

Sometimes a designer (I do this myself) associates their art (the end product) with the design process, but it is only a part of it. Of course people around you are silent designers. We create and draw from what we experience, and our experiences are ties to others, places, things, feelings. Design, for me is a process, and art is the product.
