Brushing can remove plaque and food particles from the visible surfaces while flossing cleans interdental and hidden spaces. Moreover, you will need to brush your tongue in order to keep it clean because tongue has a texture that allows bacteria and odor-creating particles to settle in and generate bad breath. Moreover, you will need to replace your toothbrush after every 3–6 months.
Consume a lot of water
The consumption of a lot of water is good not only for your oral health but also for overall health. Out oral cavities have the capability to generate a lot of saliva on everyday basis but this capability is greatly hampered when you stop consuming water in the ideal amount. Furthermore, water consumption keep internal organs such as stomach, intestines and eventually liver in good working condition. This way, you can avoid bad breath which can come from internal organs through esophagus.
Keep food consumption under a tight check
Junk and processed foods smell and taste great but they are not actually something you want to get due to the damage which your oral cavity can receive. Therefore, it is quite essential to watch what you eat. Instead of going for processed and fried foods, you can go for the fresh vegetables and fruits which are usually great for oral health. Of course you are going to consume some of fried foods during meals but it would be better to stick with the home-cooked foods. Moreover, you should brush your teeth 30 minutes after eating.
