George, what a great article. Thank you for giving voice to something that I’ve sometimes recognized in my gut, but never been able to so eloquently describe. I’ll definitely be sharing this with both clients and students. This applies to what I’ve seen in health as well. We talk about patient empowerment, and sometimes about building trust, but rarely do we so directly address power dynamics in health interactions. Thanks for the conversation starters and resources!
