How to start your day!

My daily inspiration comes from a routine I would love to share with you. It is basically a five step “plan” I tackle every day.

  1. I start by make myself a coffee in the morning, sit down on my windowsill and watch the dawn. Sometimes it is raining but that is even better because I see all the flowers getting wet and all the puddles with all the little raindrops that make a relaxing noise. When it is summer and the road is hot and it starts raining it smells like new life, hope and I just want to go outside in my pyjamas close my eyes and dance on the street.
  2. Next I motivate myself for the day. When it is a College day I get myself a cool outfit while listening to some good-mood-music, what I like to call it! I love to create a new style and I do my best to not look like all the other girls out there. I always try to make a difference and I start with my outfit in the morning. When it is a day off I love to make a plan for the day so I have a goal I want to reach and I don’t search for excuses to be lazy all day.
  3. A good breakfast can save your day. I try to be creative here as well. The food tastes better when it looks good! I always put much effort into it, make smoothies by myself, decorate my plate or even carve something in my apple. You will try new things and become more creative in a way people may think isn’t important but any way of being spontaneous, crazy, creative or “weird” in a good way makes you look at life from another angle.
  4. Do something good! It can be something small! I always see a derelict with a sign that he is hungry. He doesn’t look like he is homeless or poor but I always give him money because even if he is hungry at one of 365 days in a year I can help him! You never know what people go through. So don’t say you know it is fake. Be happy to help them and if they are fake you maybe helped them paying a bill or buying something that makes them happy. But of course you don’t have to give money to help someone. Just holding a door, smiling at a stranger, giving your seat to an old or pregnant person or even helping someone you know by sharing a snack or just be there for them when they need someone to talk can make someones day either it’s yours or theirs!
  5. Be mindful! Sometimes small things can make your day. Watch the people around you, pay attention to the little situations in life. They can be amazing, beautiful, weird or even make you think about some special topics. I like to look at the people around me (without staring at them of course!) I like to notice little things like if they have an individual style, if they colored their hair, who is wearing make up who isn’t, what they are maybe doing as a job at the moment or where they are going right now. You will learn a lot and train your self to question things and learn about the people around you!

It helps a lot to go to bed early, and get up early as well! I drink 3 litres of water a day and do a workout everyday. I love to change my diet as well sometimes, like eating vegan for a week. I eat more healthy automatically, train myself to have more discipline and make my daily routine more interesting.

Have a great day!
