The idea of the #apictureisworthathousandwords project came to me last year when I went backpacking for the first time in my life. I chose Southeast Asia (Jan — April 2016). Being an avid photographer, I always want people to stop and really take the time to appreciate the image. I want others to feel the image the way I do, what it really means to me. I wanted to share this feeling. I decided that for a chosen image, I would write a story of exactly 1000 words (including title). In order not to detract from looking at the image, I recorded the stories so that you can listen to them while looking at the image and let your imagination run freely. Hopefully I managed to share with you the feelings attached to the image. The stories have been collected in “book”: Recordings From My Closet.
