The Indian education system revolves certainly around unfair assessment, the inefficacy of the teachers, an ever-widening cleavage between teacher and student, incomprehensible curriculum, woes of ‘weak students’ and jubilation of ‘bright students’.

I am no expert in the matter but I belong to the student community whose views are either not sought or are dismissed. Anytime I have tried to voice my opinions, I have been told that “ this is how it was done, and this is how it’ll continue…”

Our education system starts thrusting its tentacles into the minds of students so much so that they start getting alienated from the very system.

Many of my teachers come with pre-made hand notes or any printed material and they tell everything by looking into it. Really I doubt whether they know anything about teaching.

The way they teach is very less related to application purpose. Most of their teaching is pointed towards only marks gaining. I see a person who writes Christopher Nolan movie stories gets more marks than a person whose answers look like written by Einstein or Tesla.

Some differentiation is seen like: the first bencher is assumed more clever than the last bencher, lab viva being more in favor towards girls than boys, etc.

  • Not messing with them even if it’s their mistake.
  • “Wanna succeed? Become their boot licker”
  • Giving unnecessary work for lab observation and record writing, thereby wasting the time.
  • They are unable to find students with good knowledge. As they are busy scrubbing students with their bookish knowledge..

Really, this needs to be cured. The teaching way should be changed.

People like me, for whom extracurricular and other talents and hobbies are not a cup of tea, education is the only gateway for us to achieve something.

In India we see sexism. The teachers often beat boys much more than girls.

Is that because they respect women? Such an awkward question. Punishing someone for their wrong need doesn’t always mean that you are disrespecting them.

Indian teachers beating girls less doesn’t make them more respectful towards girls. It just makes those idiots who are brainwashed by society into believing that boys are tough and girls are physically weak.

Basically, we are all humans, and Both genders are equally strong. Let me remind you that nature made females more tolerant compared to males as they have to face pregnancy in the future. And males are generally seen as more strong just because of their muscle power.

So when you beat a boy or girl the pain they will feel will be the same. Indian teachers need to understand this.

If a Boy and Girl talk a bit closely they assume that they are in a relationship.

Every time a boy and girl talk to each other it may not only be because of attraction towards each other it may be because of attraction towards Chota Bheem(Indian Cartoon Series) too.

Everyone hates this, for sure. Attending those boring lectures by those teachers who don’t know how to teach, and wasting time that could be used for something more productive. I’m not totally against it, but it does prick me in some cases like my electronics lecture.

Copy that shit from the lab manuals. A useless activity that not only wastes our time but also is something that involves wasting paper on a large scale.

Everyone falls victim to this at least once every year, by every teacher. They do the same in every class. All batches they get are the “worst” they have ever got. Oh, and they are also quite active in fish trading, those children in her class.

Creativity is as important as literacy!
