The history of the brand began like with the most firms, not with the production of motorcycles, but subsequently, they succeeded in it well. It all started in 1926. The brothers Ducati founded in the Italian city of Bologna a firm for the creation and repair of various radio engineering. By the 39th year the factory of the Ducati brothers numbered about 7 thousand workers. It was only with the beginning of the war that the production of the firm was hampered. They produced radio equipment and sights for the army.
The first idea about starting the motorcycle production appeared in 1944, when the famous at that time engineer Farinelli created a motor for a bicycle. The crisis of the firm of the Duсati brothers made us think about a new production. The failure of the idea prompted the company to redirect the organization to create auxiliary engines for bicycles. Thus, more than fifty years ago the company started to manufacture motor vehicles with logo Ducati.
Already in 1950, Ducati-55 came off the assembly line. It was the first complete full moped. After that, the company went through a lot of trial and errors, adding something new to its aggregates. Improvement of technologies has brought the company to the world level. Export of equipment was made in different parts of the world. In the world sports arena, Ducati motorcycles occupied the highest places. The bikes manufactured at the factory are created exclusively for fast driving.
