The blind “worship” of anything or anyone is always dangerous, imho. Perhaps in the Valley there is condescension towards employees, but I would dare say that elsewhere they are admired. Looked down upon? Sorry, just don’t get that and if its happening, thats pretty fucked up. I know people who would kill to get jobs working (employees) for some of those tech companies.
