What are the User Experience processes?
UX Designers have a lot on their plate between research, wireframes and the list goes on and on...
If you are new to the game this can feel very overwhelming..well… throw that fear out of the window because here are some User Experience Processes to follow.
6 stages of UX Design:
Understand
Before starting any UX project you need to be in tune with 2 things your Users and your brand.

Let's start with the user. BIG QUESTION around this that what problem are they facing. Once you identify the issues they are facing then you can begin working regarding the solutions. Second is understanding the Brand, How does the project you are working aligning with Brands mission and goals.
To summarize in this stage you what to identify the problem facing by the users as well as the core goals of the Brands and see How they align.

Research
As a designer, you must have a ton of assumptions about what the user wants or does not want in a design. But not challenging those assumptions can leave you in a hole too deep to dig yourself to come out of.
- 1:1 Interviews
- Focus Groups
- Surveys
- Usability Testing are just a few methods to help vet your assumptions and back of real tangible evidence.
and for that, you don't need to survey a million users a good RULE OF THUMB is finding a 3–5 Users in your target audience it will save your time and typically give you as much data as you need to move forward with your project.
Analyze
Now that you are done with your research you can take all that data and start working with it. One way to layout your research visually is with a User Persona.
Persona will act like a guy when it comes to all your design decisions. And if you need a wider view of the big-picture journey that your users take.
Try a User Journey Map. Creating a UJM can help you understand what the user will be going through when they interact with your product and service. This could give great insight into pain points and how to restructure them before moving to the next stage.
Design
In this stage you will actually build out the design you will create things like
- Sitemaps
- User Flow
- Mock-Ups and other visuals.
and one of the valuable things you can create at this stage is a Wireframe.
Its a low fidelity representation of your product. Some designers even used it as a prototype. You most likely won't lie on your product after one wireframe sketch.
So grab your sketchbook, pencils and a large cup of COFFEEEEEE because its gonna be a long night.

In the end, the wireframe will convey the overall description of the User Interface.
Launch
So After designing, Re-designing and then re-designing some more you start collaborating with your Dev Team to turn your carefully crafted design into a real working product. All with taking good care of check-ins and feedback because UX is usually everyone’s job. It only gets better with everyone’s collaboration and attention.
Analyze…Again
Once the product is launched its time of another round of Analysis. But this time you want to ask some questions from your team like
- Where did our process go right?
- Where did we struggle?
- How are the users responding?
- Did we solve their issues and pain points?
with these questions, you will run your future projects smoothly.
Now I guess it's big more easy in jumping a new UX Projects. But keep in mind every UX design will be unique to your product.
